We have been very fortunate to have the kind support of private individuals (see below) that have helped finance specific iniatives. The project has also benefitted tremendously from the ongoing support from the Institute for Aegean Prehistory.

Our support network

At Priniatikos Pyrgos, we have been very fortunate to benefit from the support of educational institutions, private and national funding bodies, and private individuals.

The Institute for Aegean Prehistory have been at the forefront of support for our work and have funded the excavation research at Priniatikos Pyrgos from 2005 to 2015.

We have also benefited from the generous support of the Loeb Classical Library Foundation and the Mediterranean Archaeological Trust.

Institutional support has been provided by the Irish Institute of Hellenic Studies at Athens, University College Dublin, Masaryk University Brno, Trinity College Dublin, The University of Pennsylvania Museum, The National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, The University of California at Santa Barbara and The University of Sheffield.

Janet McGregor, George Muirhead, Dan Patrick, the Klontza family, the Stamatakis family and many others in the community of Kalo Chorio Istron have generously provided their support and encouragement over the years.

The Irish Institute of Hellenic Studies at Athens is a registered charity organisation and we encourage all supporters of our work to consider making a registered donation to the project through out Dublin or Athens offices.
